Revenge of the Sixth: 1/6 Scale Hot Toys Star Wars, Marvel, DC, and Customs
The RotSC group on Facebook is a stellar community full of collectors who have taken their hobby to the next level by diving into the world of custom created action figures. While it's a great place to hang out and chat about new releases and collector-conspiracy theories (What's the REAL reason Crosshair is in such short supply!?), this group really shines in the customization aspect of the hobby. If Hot Toys and Sideshow won't produce our grails, we'll MAKE them ourselves!
The group's admin, Ricky, hosts a YouTube channel called Clone Craft, touting almost 1500 subscribers, and more than 70,000 views over 20 videos. His content will walk you through the entire process, from printing parts to painting them and bringing your favorite characters to life.
Newbies to the hobby are always welcome, and encouraged to share their work in an open forum where we trade tips and pointers, and complain about Hot Toys release delays.
